Crafting Custom Event Music and Engaging Audiences Instantly

In this post, I'm excited to share two game-changing AI applications I've recently tested: creating custom music on the fly and transforming audience feedback into compelling presenter content.

Creating Custom Music for Events—Even with Just 15 Minutes Notice


As event producers, we've all been there: you’re on-site, deep into rehearsals, and suddenly the client has a brilliant, last-minute idea. That’s exactly what happened during Proscenium's recent Orion event, when—just 15 minutes before a presenter rehearsal—our client asked if we could quickly come up with a catchy theme song for their "Rick’s Top Ten List" game show segment.

Fortunately, I had the perfect tool in my back pocket: SUNO AI.

Step-by-Step with SUNO AI


SUNO AI is a remarkably intuitive app that generates high-quality, customized music tracks instantly. Here’s how you can quickly create event music, even under tight time constraints:



  1. Choose your style and mood. For the Orion event, I needed something upbeat and retro. Inspired by 1960s classic game show music. So I selected a playful, bouncy style reminiscent of that era.
  2. Input your lyrics (or let SUNO AI create them for you). Due to the urgency, I kept it simple and typed in just four words: "Rick’s Top Ten List." SUNO allows detailed prompts, but in this case, brevity was key.
  3. Generate and review options. SUNO AI rapidly produced four unique musical tracks, each one catchy, energetic, and aligned perfectly with our brief—even managing to capture the accidental charm of my typo "enery" instead of "energy."
  4. Choose your favorite and download. Within minutes, I selected the perfect track, loaded it into our playback system, and we were ready just as the rehearsal began.

Results

The presenter walked onto the stage with the fresh, tailor-made jingle playing seamlessly behind them. It elevated the moment, energized the team, delighted the client, and proved the effectiveness of leveraging AI creatively in real-world event production scenarios.

Turning Audience Engagement into Powerful Presentation Content


Imagine you're about to deliver a keynote presentation, and you've decided to involve the audience right from the start. You ask an open-ended question: "What's your personal number one goal for [Company X] in 2025?" Within moments, you've received over 500 one-sentence responses. Now, how do you quickly transform these raw responses into meaningful insights to enhance your presentation?

Step-by-Step with AI-Powered Insights


Using AI tools like ChatGPT, here's how you can instantly translate audience feedback into actionable speaker notes:

  1. Collect and input audience responses. Gather responses from your audience engagement tool like CrowdPurr, PollEverywhere, Slido, or any other engagement tool and feed the responses through a CSV or Excel directly into an LLM like ChatGPT.
  2. Analyze responses with AI. Prompt ChatGPT with something like the following: "Summarize these 500 short audience responses by identifying the top keywords and common themes."
  3. Receive clear, actionable insights. In seconds, the AI generates a concise summary highlighting the main topics and recurring themes from the audience's input.
  4. Prepare bullet points for your presenter. Convert these AI-generated insights into a clear, succinct set of speaker notes for your presenter’s teleprompter or turn them into helpful supporting graphics.

And from these responses, I asked it to identify the top themes and this is what I got:

And yes, while we must stay focused on reducing operational costs and growing our market share, what truly stands out is how these goals interweave to form a cohesive strategy. Each of these priorities you've identified represents not just a target, but a stepping stone toward our shared future. Together, we're not just planning for tomorrow – we're actively shaping it. Thank you for your insights and engagement today."

    Take it even further and create a visual that embodies these goals with a simple PowerPoint presentation reflecting these key points.
