  1. DJs need to understand the audience and the brand so they can have a baseline of go-to songs they know will work.
  2. DJs can completely tailor what they play to suit not only the crowd, but the moment.
  3. Because DJs are the talent, they look at things differently. You should give them the opportunity to collaborate with you early in the process. Their perspective allows them to think of things you might miss.
  4. DJs can control the energy in the room and engage with the audience in a way a playlist or a band simply can't.
