SAP SPEND CONNECT LIVE
SAP Spend Connect Live was a brand-new user conference for this world famous technology company – in name and in scale. And the intention was exactly that – to connect their most important clients to each other, SAP, and to new software innovations in the realm of total spend management – including supply chain operations, human resources, and procurement.
It’s been almost 4 years – a pre-pandemic lifetime ago - since SAP held a live event for this audience. These attendees have been through hell and back since the pandemic began. These are the superheroes - the heads of procurement, operations, supply chain - keeping the world moving with their adaptability, foresight, and ingenuity during an unbelievably challenging time. And they needed to know how they could keep moving forward with the right technology partner, SAP.
GRABBING AN OPPORTUNITY BY THE HORNS
We were presented with the unique chance to produce a powerhouse multi-day event for 2,000 clients in the heart of Dallas, Texas, demonstrating our production chops in a massively wide spectrum of event components. Alongside SAP, we helped develop the overall event strategy: how we can best bring to life the theme that total spend management fuels your business.
GOING BIG ON DESIGN
We designed the visual look-and-feel for the entire event, prominent on all event signage and communications, as well as inside the keynote room. And speaking of the keynote, we produced some striking staging, including a 130’ foot wide LED content canvas, thoughtfully designed to best showcase transformative new SAP products. Our opening sizzle video kicked off the event on an exciting, anticipatory note, and we even tackled celebrity speaker management by staging Troy Aikman as the final keynote presenter.
Producing a successful live event is all about harnessing the power of being together - learning, sharing, and celebrating with each other. We accomplished this through rock-solid oversight of event operations and logistics, including the coordination of activations, lounges, sponsor booths, and an executive meeting center. We designed the layout and branding for the Marketplace, a 78,000 sq. ft. expo filled with vendor partners, sponsors, and SAP resource groups. And we’ve got a hunger for F&B operations, so we folded that in, too; our evening off-site celebration night featured a rockin’ Texas band and renowned local Dallas eateries providing a savory palate of flavors.
They say everything’s bigger in Texas – and SAP Spend Connect Live was a HUGE way to return to live events.
